I've never been one to fall all over myself trying to replicate a certain celebrity's 'look.' Normally the whole concept bugs me, especially when I'm promised Jessica Alba's bikini body by summer. Please! But for some reason, I find myself completely enthralled lately by Megan Fox's style and confidence and have been taking a mental note of her extensive wardrobe selections. Even if she drives me nuts with her daily dose of trash talk in the media (does that girl ever sleep?) there's just Something About Megan. Sure, the fact that she's anatomically perfect doesn't hurt, but we can all learn a little something from her approach to fashion too.
Rule #1: Carry With Confidence
Even when she's sporting track pants and Uggs, the "Transformers 2" star is still working it hard. Her confident exterior and "just try me" attitude gives all of her outfits that sexy edge. She may only be 23, but the newly single starlet holds her head high like she's been navigating the Hollywood scene for decades.
Rule #2: Never Conform
Most celebs look like their stylists have just pushed them out the door whereas the Tennessee native walks to the beat of her own drum. One day you may find her sporting sexy low-rider jeans, a rocker chick t-shirt and Aviator sunglasses while the next she's focused on comfort with a short cardigan layered over a simple cotton tank top. It's refreshing to see a star that doesn't try so hard and isn't above sporting a little Fruit of the Loom now and again.
Rule #3: Go All Out When the Time is Right
You don't see the Maxim cover girl running errands dressed for the red carpet like some other famous faces, but when it comes time to attend an awards show or movie premiere she's sure to bring her A-game. (Well, except for that not-so-minor hair hiccup at the MTV Movie Awards.) She can be daring in a mini dress with uber-high heels or may go for more discreet sex appeal in a long flowing dress with a revealing back or leg slit.
Are you buying what Megan Fox is selling? Or does she still have a few lessons to learn in the style department?
